How long can we keep saying that though? I mean, let's face it. They missed the playoffs for what seems like an eternity. Every it seems the get a top ten draft pick. Some first overalls mixed, some top 5s. They can't suck forever with so much talent coming in, yet they always seem to suck as soon as fans start buying in again.

Excuse me for not being sold on Bailey and Okposo suddenly finding their games after 4 years of being busts. 20 game stretches are 20 game stretches. The Islanders are not a very good team and definitely would not have made the post-season in an 82 game season. Tavares is great, top 10 player in the league, but they don't have much depth and their defense is not great either.

Dupuis is a better offensive, faster and less physical version of Callahan. Pretty similar players.

Difference is that Dupuis is a role player/3rd liner for Pens, while Callahan is leading ice time getter amongst fwds for Rangers. Discrepancy in rosters are very large.
