About Strait's right skate kicking out Crosby's right foot--there's a GIF posted in another thread that I saw, probably on the main playoffs board, that shows a different angle of the play in closeup and it shows that Crosby's right foot is never pushed by Strait's. I'm not arguing that Strait isn't draped all over him, but I think the other angle shows that he did not cause Crosby to fall with his skate.

But a call like that is going to get made even though it's OT in the playoffs because stars like Crosby get calls, whether it is right or wrong. If Strait is defending against Tanner Glass, it could be that doesn't get called, but it did and Crosby and Kunitz made the Islanders pay. It was a very entertaining game despite the outcome.

Sick shot by Zucker, can't believe he tucked it over Crawford.

Minnesota can tie this thing up. First time I've believed they could. Games 1 and 3 have been extremely close.

Two hands on his left shoulder for the hold (and whether or not Crosby falls has nothing to do with whether or not he was held and shouldn't effect the call)

And then after that strait kicks out his right foot (probably unintentionally but doesn't change the fact that it happened) directly into the back of Crosby's right skate and trips him.

Don't see how there is any complain about this one. Also there is no way he dove there...he was breaking into the net for a good scoring chance - it would make no sense to dive.

As an aside I would obviously prefer the Islanders win this series since it is preferable for the Rangers if they advance.

It was a clear cut penalty. And, if it was Nash instead of Crosby most of you will agree. Strait was beaten and tried to hold him using his hands. Game over.
