I guess the point is that they'd presumably put up a better fight, and even have an outside chance.

The idea of Vegas maybe. They've stunk for a good while now. Them not making the playoffs would be well-earned

Not this years' version of the VGK. They're so inconsistent, with a putrid power play. The Avs would steam roll them.

playoffs are always a new season though. We know at the least that Vegas could be better than it's been this year. It is what it is; I was just saying it's lame to see the LAK locked in. The West has some great teams, but unlike the East, there are some bad teams mixed in there.

Vegas likely gets healthy in the playoffs too.

The only issue they have is goal if they’re healthy, because it seems lehner is done
