I think Canes are exhausted on a B2B after a huge game against the Leafs. Getting whacked by the Sens. Still half a game left tho

Ottawa is running circles around them. Almost like playing road games can make you look bad at times with the travel can’t they.

Rangers have played 26 road games to Carolinas 22. Things are going to even out a bit here

Caps blew it in regulation after tying it with time winding down lol
 
Marchand whacks Jarry in the head out of play with a hand or elbow then while being escorted away adds one with his stick to the lower mask.

Absolutely not the wish you want to make. There is no easy out whatsoever in the East. Every other team but NYR is thinking that about NYR though.

Edit - Pitt starting the post break back on track. Goodness I hate that team.

Howden should've spent a year or 2 in the AHL thats pretty clear. I dont envy the situation he was put in here tho; NYR traded their Captain for him and he was the most hated player on social media for almost his entire tenure here, no wonder his confidence was shot.

pretty sure that is 80% of our failing as a team. Glad Nils is down. I wish Laf and Kakko could get time in the AHL. Byfield got lots of time to marinate down there (although not sure if it really helped him)

Penguins just seem f***ing unbeatable.

They have these seasons where they just seem to win every game.

Don't understand it.

Got to admit I think I was upset to then see the Caps lost too. Would like to see them challenge Pens for a 2-3 spot.

I don't want a first round matchup with Pittsburgh. That's one team I don't want to be one and done against. Can't take losing to them.

Then again there's plenty of time for us to fall into a WC spot too so who knows.

He is on pace for 40 points over 82 games. It's ridiculous how terrible we have been developing young forwards. This is a big reason I don't want to resign Strome. These young kids needs to play more, even if it means losing an extra game or two this season.

Just amazing it really doesn't matter who is out of the lineup either. They just keep winning. If Jarry is a different Jarry than the one we saw vs the isles last year then they will be a very tough out but if he has the same mental issues than they will be easier to beat obviously.
Surprised Samsonov hasn't looked good for the caps. Can't say i'm upset about it ;) Kinda crazy they may need to be in the market for a goalie.

Right there with you. Would rather play a tough 5-6 game series against Florida or Tampa than whatever would come out of a 1st round matchup against Pittsburgh. I still think they are going to the ECF.
 
Pittsburgh is legit a good team and have been for a long time.

Their issues recently have been getting into the playoffs and then crapping their pants for whatever reason.
