Another Caufield goal. I forget who it was, but shoutout to that poster who kept insisting he was worthless when we were talking about a Kravy/Caufield swap.

Deadline day tomorrow! As expected…the West came right down to the wire!

Wild beat the Hawks 3-1. They are now 1pr behind the Blues for 2nd in the Central. Wild earlier it he week picked up Tyson Jost for Nico Sturm. I guess they wanted some more grit so they went out and traded a 3rd rounder for Deslauriers yesterday. Deslauriers one of the best heavweights in the game but also plays a regular shift similar to Reaves. Wild have a very tough roster from a physical standpoint. Deslauriers, Foligno, Greenway, Duhaime, Hartman, Dumba, Bjugstad

Oilers are on a tear. Beat the Devils 6-1. Draisaitl gets #41. He’s 2nd in the league in Goal scoring. 2nd in the League in Points trailing McDavid by 4. Oilers have won 5 in a row (Caps, Lightning, Wings, Sabres, Devils). They trail the Kings by 2 points for 2nd in the Pacific. Oilers also have 2 games in hand.

Pens beat the Coyotes. Crosby with 2 goals (21, 22). Pens outshot the Coyotes 49-21. They remain 2 pts ahead of the Rangers in the Metro. Rangers have a game in hand.

Habs beat the Sens 5-1. Lehkonen had an assist. Caufield scored #13. One of these two is likely gone by 3pm tomorrow. For the Sens, they havn’t signed Tierney yet, and there have been no talks. Nick Paul (7th on TSN’s trade board) is also not signed and has been held out. Both likely gone. Also Zach Sanford RW, and Michael Del Zotto’s names have also come up on TSN’s Trade Bait board.

Big NYR win over the defending cup winners. Rangers don’t advance in the standings as Pens also won, but was a solid performance. Lightning are 1pt up from the Leafs in the Standings.

Kracken over the Wings. Kracken already moved Calle Jarnkrok to the Flames. They will likely be busy Giordano, Soucy, Blackwell, Lauzon all on TSN’s big board. Then of course there is also Yanni Gourde. For the Wings. Nick Leddy has been talked about often in rumors and is high on TSN’s list of players to be moved but recently the big name has been Bertuzzi.

Isles beat the Stars 4-2. Isles are playing themselves right out of Lottery odds. Won 5 out of 6 games. Tough loss for the Stars. They are now 3 points out of the wildcard but they do have 4 games in hand on the Knights and 2 games in hand om Preds.

Knights run over the Kings 5-1. Eichel is back after exiting the prior game early. The Kings who are still hanging around are in 2nd in the Pacific. Will be interesting to see how active they will be today and tomorrow.

Jackets beat the Blues in regulation. The Blues are now only 1 ahead of Wild in the standings. Wild have a game in hand. Jackets are 13pts out. Too much to make up. Max Domi is 11th on TSN’s list. Roslovic and Korpisalo are also on the list.

Preds over the Leafs 6-3. Milsestone night for Forsberg who is now the Preds all time leading goal-scorer. Also, Roman Josi has scored 13 points in the past 4 games. Preds are in the first Widlcard spot but are tied with the Wild in points. The big story is what to do with Filip Forsberg? He is still unsigned, but being they are in a playoff race I would assume unlikely to be moved. Leafs have let up a lot of goals in the month of March. Kallgren was great in his first 2 games but fell short last night. Leafs need help on D. Im assuming they are all in on Giordano.

Flames beat up on the Canucks. Jarnkrok assisted on the Flames 1st goal. The loss puts the Nucks 5 points out of the last wildcard spot. Time to sell is NOW!

Roman Josi has 22 points in his last 9 games. o_O

If he played in a bigger market, he'd be the runaway Norris favorite. But since everyone in in the hockey world has jumped on the Cale Makar bandwagon, Josi will probably finish 2nd. Which is criminal since Josi is so much better than Makar defensively.
Josi could score 100 and still lose the Norris to Makar. Everyone decided before the season started that golden boy Cale is going to get his deserved Norris this year and that’s the end of it

Our boy Kevin Hayes scored two. Once upon a time he was on the same level as JT Miller. Would anyone have guessed how much better would end up than him?

Flyers beat the Isles in regulation. Meaningless game.

Georgiev shuts out the Canes. Rangers are back in 2nd in the Metro. 3 pts out of 1st place. Canes have a game in hand. Geo put on quite a show. Could be his ticket out of here but I personal

y think the Rangers will keep him till the offseason.

Jets over the Hawks. While it is highly likely they move some players today, they are only 4 pts out of a wildcard spot. They have a game n had on the Knights. They picked up Mason Appleton for a draft pick yesterday. The Jets also moved Beaulieu for a draft pick.

Stars beat the Caps in regulation. The Stars now sit 1 pt out of a wildcard. They have 3 games in hand on the Knights. Radulov and Kilngberg are both expiring assets. Will they be on the move today?

Sharks beat the Coyotes. Yotes and Kracken are tied in pits with 44. I ahead of the Habs with 43. Battle for the lotto pick in on! Sharks are cooked. 10 pts out of the Wildcard with 20 games to go is too much of a gap to make up. Arizona also won the McBain sweepstakes. Good addition on the cheap.

Sabres beat the Canucks in OT. They are 4 pts out of a Wildcard and have some of the biggest names available for the deadline today.

What are you talking about they just need a goalie and they’ll be cup favorites
If you look at Reverse Fedi from 12:39 of the first period through 8:09 of the second, excluding away games and games played on Tuesdays, the Devils are number 3 in the league from Jan 18 through Feb 12. The Rangers are in 14th lol lol! Imagine if they had a goalie, it would definitely be them and the Canes in the East.

I'm pretty sure @GAGLine is our resident CBA expert. Very interested to hear his take on this. What a mess!
I'm just catching up on this now.

It's a mess, but it's going to come down to whether or not the list was submitted on time, which Dadanov and his agent claim it was. If they can prove that, then it will be left to determine if Ottawa messed up by not giving the list to Vegas. In either case, Vegas likely messed up by not knowing. I mean, CapFriendly has him listed with a 10 team NTC. Someone in Vegas should have done their due diligence when they first acquired him. It's possible that both Ottawa and Vegas could end up getting fined/losing draft picks if they are found to be in the wrong.

If it can be proved that the list wasn't submitted on time, then the league will just approve the deal and that should be the end of it.

If the list was submitted on time and Anaheim is on it, Dadanov can still veto the trade. If he does, Vegas will have to figure out some other way to clear cap, with the caveat that whomever they acquire, and whomever they trade, cannot play in the playoffs for their new team since the deal will be registered after the trade deadline has expired.

Reilly Smith doesn't have any trade protection according to CapFriendly, and he has the same cap hit as Dadanov. They may end up having to pay another team to take Smith, unless there's a team that is not on Dadanov's list that will take him.

I thought I read once that a NMC could fall off after a trade, or that the acquiring team doesn't have to honor it.

Would NTC be the same?
