Don't think they'll make it? LOL. Not a chance. They are 19 points behind Washington with 25 games to go. It's over and the more points they get the more it hurts their draft position. I see them finishing about 10th in the east which would be the worst thing that could happen to them.

It's fair, especially since how cheap Jarnkrok is.
Career year for Jarnkrok, can play W or C, and can PK. 2nd seems fair and the other picks for retaining (2023 and 2024 picks). For 1M, that's a hell of a 'swiss army knife' of a player.

Stars over the Canadiens in OT. Stars are outside of a Wildcard spot by 1pt. They have 2 games in hand on Preds, and 4 games in hand on the Knights.
Caps beat up on the Jackets. They are 3pts behind the Rangers in the Metro.
Leafs beat the Canes in regulation. Leafs rookie netminder won 2 in a row. Canes came back in the 3rd but too little too late. Leafs now 1pt behind Toronto in the Atlantic.
Oilers with another big win over the Sabres. Leon pots his 40th goal on the season. Oilers won 4 in a row! They are 2pts ahead of Vegas in the Pacific with 2 games in hand.
Kings over the Sharks. They pick up a big 2 pts, and are still in 2nd in the Pacific. Kempe scored #26th. They play tomorrow afternoon vs the Knights. Sharks seem done. 10pts out of the wildcard.
Flyers give Giroux a nice sendoff. The beat the Preds in regulation. Preds are tied with the Wild in pts in the Central, but Wild have 2 games in hand. Preds sit in the 1st wildcard spot.
F’n Islanders! Pitt 2 pts ahead of the good guys. Rangers have a game in hand.

If the Caps manage to overtake us (we have a tough stretch ahead and their schedule and ours is pretty even the rest of the way), then we will probably end up in the last wild card spot. Would it even be a bad thing? Going up against Florida or Carolina in the first round? Just get it out of the way.

Noah Dobson is having a breakout season on Long Island . He is 22 and a RFA . What is best thing for him? I say get out of there ASAP . Will Isles go short or long on him ? He could be a 8- 10 million dollar guy soon if he keeps tracking & on a real bad team for 5-6 more seasons . Can he be offer sheeted ? I think there is a note on his Arbitration Status saying needs one more season ? I'm not sure how that works. I thought as soon as the ELC was over he would be eligible ? What is the best way for him to get to the biggest payday the fastest and out of NY ? What would his agent be thinking right now ?
