Noah Dobson is having a breakout season on Long Island . He is 22 and a RFA . What is best thing for him? I say get out of there ASAP . Will Isles go short or long on him ? He could be a 8- 10 million dollar guy soon if he keeps tracking & on a real bad team for 5-6 more seasons . Can he be offer sheeted ? I think there is a note on his Arbitration Status saying needs one more season ? I'm not sure how that works. I thought as soon as the ELC was over he would be eligible ? What is the best way for him to get to the biggest payday the fastest and out of NY ? What would his agent be thinking right now ?

I have to imagine the Isles see him as a core player going forward and will look to lock him up as long as they can. I expect to see him ink a multi year deal.

6 Games on the schedule tonight. Curious to see if there are any late minute scratches other then the ones below?

Flyers already holding Giroux out of the lineup.

Nick Paul a healthy scratch for the Sens

Jets still in it so no scratches

Ducks scratched Lindholm. He's a goner.

Sabres thread didn't show any healthy scratches tnight.

Gadjovich is out for the Sharks.

Your recaps and previews would eat into ESPN's ad revenue for me if I didn't use an ad blocker. But I read your posts instead anyway.

His face didn't shift to pain until he fell. That is unfortunately not looking good. Feel awful for him dealing with this back to back years. Wonder how this changes things this weekend. Here comes chychrun?

Looks like its the other leg this time. From the video, it was a weird looking play. Didnt look too bad, but him crawling on the ice was bad. Cleary hurt. Never know though. When Reaves got slew-footed, I thought torn ACL for sure. Gallant come out and says eh, its not so bad and he was back.

Comtois right in the middle of everything again.

From Yahoo News..
"The good news is head coach Andrew Brunnette said after the game that it looks better than they initially feared and they will know more tomorrow after he is evaluated again."

Sens over the Flyers 3-1. Not much to play for here other then some pride and a draft selection. Flyers are the 4th worst team in the league. They have a 9.7% change of winning the draft lottery currently. The Sens are the 6 worst team in the league and have a 7.6% chance of winning the draft lottery.

B’s over the Jets. 4-2. Marchand gets 25, Taylor Hall gets the game winner. Jets are now 4 pts out of the Wildcard. B’s are 2 pts behind Toronto for 3rd in the Atlantic. 3 pts behind Tampa. They pretty much have all their picks in the 22 Draft. They have about $1mil in cap space but about $5.2 mil in projected deadline cap space. Seems like a club that will be looking be looking to buy a rental player that has money retained. They have to sign Bergeron next season which is why I think they will go with a Rental that is expiring. I’m assuming that Bergeron is sticking around in Bahstan!

Panthers shut out the Ducks. Huberdeau gets #20 and #21. 86 points on the year, 1 pt behind McDavid for the league lead. Panthers are 3 pts behind Avs in the Presidents trophy race. Ekblad getting helped off the ice was the bigger story. Not the same leg as he injured last season. Reports are “he’s going to be ok”. The Ducks already mailed it in. 5 Points out of the wildcard they already traded Manson and held Lindholm out last night. Lindholm and Rakell have both been linked to the NYR, at least Rakell was by a legit source. Not sure about Lindholm. I think that came from a blog. Both likely to be moved this weekend.

Caps beat the Canes in the Shootout. Ovi gettin-r-done. Ties it in the 3rd then get the Shootout goal for the win. Caps are 1pt behind the Rangers for 3rd in the Metro. Rangers have 2 games in hand. Canes are now 2 pts behind the Panthers for the Eastern Conference lead. They have a game in hand on the Panthers.

Sabres shutout the Flames. Tage Thompson with the GW in OT. Crazy highlight reel goal! Flames are still in First in the Pacific by 6 pts. They also have 2 games in hand on LA. Likely nobody is catching them.

Avs over the Sharks 5-3. 3 Pt night for Makar. New addition Nico Sturm centering the 3rd line with Newhook and JT Compher. Manson paired with Ryan Murray (Byram and Girard) out. The Sharks now 10 pts out of the Wildcard. The Avs sitting atop the entire league un the presidents race by 3 pts.
