Lou f***ed them good. A NHL team that is too old and slow to compete, and a bare prospect pool.

That team basically had a window that was 1.5 years long, and now its closed.
I have two buddies that I’ll provide quotes they said to me over the course of the last few days.
“If we win this road trip, UBS is going to be rocking against Boston. I’m going.”
-friend 1
“I think they’ll be back next year.”
-friend 2
Also, every Flames goal tonight Butch has said is lucky. He’s got to be the worst color guy in hockey. Burke has to carry that old turd.

Islanders are dreadful and that was obvious back in November. You are wasting your breath trying to talk sense into an Islander fan, most delusional fans in all of sports AINEC. Until recently these tools thought they still had a shot at the playoffs even though they are old and slow and more than 15 points out of a playoff spot. Homer Butch is the worst I have ever heard. He's an utter embarrassment. He's like some Piles fan sitting on his couch with a beer in his hand yelling at the TV and blaming the refs for everything and saying the other team is lucky when they win. It really breaks my heart they are such a mess.

Puck, very well said.

I actually went to the show. Had VIP tickets and met Papa. We were like the last people to go in and, right after us, we saw the stupid nj Debbie go in to meet the good Papa and take this pic.

Awesome show. I even joked with Papa (Tobias) when we met that I grew up listening to Maiden, my wife grew up listening to Wham. And, Ghost is without a doubt our favorite current band. Not missing a beat, Papa said, “Oh..Wham?….wella as they say…You Gotta Have Faith..”. Haha! So quick, so cool.

And, not for the last time, I marveled at how completely shitty another crappy arena’s ceiling is compared to MSG’s. Pipes, girders, cheap bullshit. Gross and boring. MSG - iconic and incredible. Pure beauty and class.
Thats awesome. Judging by the stage banter and Ghost lore Tobias seems like a funny guy. Also that new opener is awesome.

Wilson hammered Chabot -- legally

Caps suck though. They're gonna lose to the Sens. Not even sure what's going on with them. Basically the same personnel.

The Caps post game crew is laying into the Caps. The lack of homerism is refreshing.

I like their color guy, his voice takes a bit getting used to but he’s unbiased, good analysis, doesn't get upset or annoyed at bad Caps play and also looks at things from both teams point of view.

It’s great when a PBP isn’t always pointing out positives of their team and negatives of opposition (homer butch), but when they still only view it from their team’s perspective- an error from their team always leading to a goal against or positive from their team leading to a goal, it’s still homerish and annoying

Who was the best #10, Gaborik, Panarin or Miller? Or Esa Tikkanen?

Ron Duguay or Bill Fairbairn . Even further back Earl Ingarfield . The first two were heart and soul Rangers and I doubt they take 3 weeks off while fighting for the playoffs ...Fairbairn would be my pick if I had to pick one . He was called Bulldog and was a part of the Bulldog line....we certainly could use a real Bulldog line today .

Pens always punch above their weight, but I don't think they're that good of a team. Defense is not that great. Goaltending is not that great (I do not care that Jarry was an all-star). They have very good forward depth and Malkin and Crosby are still PPG forwards. Cannot wait to face that team.

Washington and Pitt are two regular season teams. I do not see either having postseason success anymore. Best thing that could happen is getting that #2 or #3 seed. Carolina is winning the division and will do so quite easily at this rate. I feel confident that the Rangers could beat either team in a series, especially after the deadline moves we know are coming.
