Since people want to talk about Covid on this thread I would like to put one bit of misinformation that’s been circulating in the United States to rest.
The reason why hardly any ‘white’ people aren’t getting monoclonal antibody treatments these days is because hardly anyone is getting monoclonal antibody treatments for Covid these days. How come? Because the Regeneron and Eli Lilly treatments that are by far the most prevalent in the United States and were very effective against the Delta variant are not effective at all against the Omnicron variant.
Having gotten a crash course in monoclonal antibodies over the past year with my cancer treatments I can say this—there are literally hundreds of monoclonal antibodies now and they are designed specifically to target certain kinds of cellular structures and when those structures change it’s time to go back to the drawing board. There are a significantly higher number of spike proteins in Omnicron than Delta that help this variant evade the good that those antibody treatments were doing with the Delta variant. The Glaxo Smith Kline antibody treatment is still effective but it’s a British pharmaceutical and there’s not a lot of it available in the United States.
But anyway it’s a big fat f***ing lie being pushed by a segment of the MSM that white people are being discriminated against in this way. A supply of an effective antibody just isn’t here at the moment.
