Always hated the way Gabby’s time here ended. Was a really electric player when he was healthy.

One of my favorite moments from the nightmare shirt season in 2013 and probably the only time the Nash/Gaborik combo worked out.

Yeah it wasn't a great ending for him. But when he was on, he was on to the tune of two 40-goal seasons for the Rangers. Even more impressive than his speed was how quick his release was. Just a lethal shot.

TDA is going to put the Canes over the hump and may win it all.
Thanks Gorton you buffoon
The only issue with JG on this matter is the same as with Drury regarding Kravtsov: not getting assets for them via trade when they still had value.

Nice to see TDA thrive though, extremely entertaining player on ice.

Some players just don't get it till they get it... if they ever get it at all. JT Miller may never have become the player he is now on NYR or TBL. He himself said he needed that wakeup call. Maybe TDA gets it now. If he does, he will really help that team and get himself a giant contract. He has only one RFA season after this one. CAR may have real trouble keeping him if he is worth keeping. What's his favorite team? PHI?

TDA is the same player now in Carolina as he was here...so if you're talking about him "getting" it, all his issues were off the ice. Not really comparable to JT Miller.

Off ice/locker room is certainly part of "getting it." What changed about JT wasn't his level of talent, but his approach to the game and maturity. In that way it certainly IS comparable. Whether that is obvious to you or not.

He didn't "get it" while putting up 53 pts and apparently running the whole of our PP.
Imagine him now when he GETS IT.

Admit it already, it's all (imaginary) politics and mob mentality with many of you vs him.

Yes, NYR management just had it out for poor Tony, to an extent that they were willing to hurt the team, and he was an innocent victim in all of this... oh and Arizona just had it in for him as well. Yes that seems MUCH more plausible than that he was the problem child... Just admit it you are biased toward him. I personally don't give a shit about his politics, maybe you do, and maybe that's why you are defending him. Who knows? Myself, I always enjoyed watching him play and I hope he does well from here on out and has a great career.

I regarded his Twitter acc as relatively low profile (actually only ever had a glance over it bc of the shitstorms), never listened to a single pod of his. And I'm not a Trumpite for gods sake.

Yeah obviously I'm just sticking up for him bc of politics.

having TDA and Fox on the PP would be the equivalent of Leetch / Zubov on the PP in 94, we all know how that ended

But no he is a Trump supporter so he needed to be exiled and shipped out, great job Gorton :sarcasm: cancel culture at its finest, meantime Georgiev threw the first punch and he is still on the team and can't stop a beach ball

We may never know, but with all the drama surrounding the NYR the past few years, is it possible the problem wasn't the players, but with the way the organization is run?

The 3OT game winner was the most exhausted I was after watching a game, and I was home for it. It was such a draining game to watch. You're nervous half the time, Ovechkin hits the post in OT1 and you think it is over. When that shot went in, woke up everyone in my house. They all thought I got hurt.
And wasn’t his shoulder busted up that playoff run? I vaguely remember him having labrum surgery the off-season after

Unfortunately his post is fairly correct. It should be mentioned that he was very outspoken in his Trump support, which is his right as an American citizen. But at the end of the day he was basically shipped out as a result of being a Trump supporter. Adam Herman and co attempted to cancel him by saying he is racist because he stole KAndres first goal puck, which was proved false (also pretty incredible that group never had to face any backlash or punishment for the attempted dox, Herman just disappeared for a few months on twitter).

Adam Fox is a Trump supporter and it's not exactly a secret.

And I'm hashtag a liBERARL CoLLeGe PROfEsS0r and Adam Fox is my favorite player, so...

Maybe if Adam Fox were a conspiracy theorist nut job that most of his teammates got sick of then he’d be booted off the team too!
