(Insert any goalie) stole games against us sounds better cause it happens more than not
nah not really. The games we lose are because we play like shit. I don't recall many games in the past 2 seasons where we outplayed the opponent but lost because of a hot goalie. Maybe 2 or 3 times, max.

If Boston doesn't stop winning it doesn't matter what the Rangers do. They aren't catching the Isles or Pitt.
This.

Their only chance is catching the Isles and thats like 20% and only because the Isles aren't playing well. If we win today and they lose against Philly we are 6 behind and we play them 3 more times. Not likely but not impossible.

This is why the league needs to let the Top 16 teams in the league make the playoffs. You’re going to have a division or two that’s gonna have one or two teams that deserve to be in the playoffs that’ll miss simply due to geography. Have the division winners be the 1-4 Seeds. Then the remaining 5-16 seeds need to be based on points or point percentage. This way the 16 best teams in the league go to the playoffs. I know that with COVID that would be nearly impossible but this is how the playoffs should normally be.
The only way your system would work fairly is if the league played a balanced schedule. Since it doesn’t, then you would be basing your “best teams” making it on an unbalanced schedule. You think that’s fair?

I was being sarcastic cause of the Rangers usually making some unknown into the next Hasek.
But the lack of physicality on this Rangers team is concerning. This team would get beat up physically. How did Rangers management think that this is not an issue when they make the playoffs.

I dont agree with that call.

Its based entirely on there being an injury on the play.

Its unfortunate but Tinordi brought that upon himself.
