That's boarding regardless of the injury. I may have overstated the suspension implications before seeing the replay, but that's clearly an illegal hit.

The referees appear to disagree with you. There was no call until they reviewed it after seeing the injury.

They clearly said on the broadcast that the trailing referee made the call immediately & that was why they could review the play to confirm the call. You're arguing semantics at this point.

I am not arguing semantics. I am arguing that Tinordi put himself in a bad position.

This is absurd. It’s like the stars have all aligned to keep NYR out of the postseason
There is a non-zero chance the Rangers win out the full 12 games and still be a good ways out of the last spot. This year is bullshit, it's OK to just write it off completely.

I agree he turned into it, but the rules for boarding do not require a hit from behind. That was a clear boarding call as it gets, IMO. You're obviously free to disagree.
I dont think it was a major.

In your opinion, if he wasn't injured would it have been called a 5 min major or would it have been 2 mins?

I was being sarcastic cause of the Rangers usually making some unknown into the next Hasek.
But the lack of physicality on this Rangers team is concerning. This team would get beat up physically. How did Rangers management think that this is not an issue when they make the playoffs.

You always say this but I have not seen any games this year that I can recall that they lost because of not being physical enough. Not one. Stupid penalties? - yes, bad goaltending? - yes, too much passing and not enough shooting? - yes. Physically intimdated? NO.

Yes. I thought it was a dangerous play from the get go. And I despise both of these teams, so I'm not favoring either side.

I also thought Wilson deserved 2 mins for elbowing Kurally in the head earlier in the period, despite the fact he was already falling down, so...:dunno:

Me too. He was going down but Wilson elbowed him.

You will be when the win the east.
My rationale is that they’re not the only team in the conference that plays good defense, and the other teams that play defense can score more than Boston can. Also I think Krug was irreplaceable for them.

Their goal differential is like +15. Ours is double that lol. Idk man...
