At this point I'm rooting for Buffalo against any team that's not the Rangers but at the same time we're not catching the Penguins I don't think.

At this pont we just need anyone to slide and for us to get ridiculously hot. Isels might be the best bet cuz we have 3 more games against them but it does seem unlikely as well.
I take it to mean that over the course of his career, all of his various teammates and opponents make up 37% of all players to ever play in the NHL since it began.

If we win tomorrow and they lose, the game on Tuesday will be VERY interesting...
That's what I take it to mean but we just had two players play their 1,000th career game I can't see 8,000 being the total games played by EVERY player. I'm aware that 1,000 games is not common but still that's two players playing in the same era.

NBC just showed a graphic we have the second most points in the league since March 13th. Damn shame our chance to make the playoffs are so unlikely.
Frustrating but not unexpected. We are a good team but dug a deep whole and We just aren’t gaining on the top 4.
not 8000 games...8100 different players have played in the nhl
on that stat...keep in mind that 5 teams have joined the league since marleau started playing and another 5 teams all joined within like 7 years of his career starting...so the % of total players is skewed toward his era.
compared to gordie howe who played the majority of his career when there were only 6 teams.

Montour, Bennet, and Gusev all recorded points for Florida tonight. They just take all these castoffs from around the league and they start producing once they take their talents to South Beach.
another crazy marleau stat....he has played in 1767 out of a possible 1802. 98%. he has never had a season that he has played less than 90% of his team's games.
Florida GM Zito and Q have done a great job of making the Panthers a good team.

Capitals and Islanders doing everything they can right now to keep us out of the playoffs. Those lost points earlier in the season against NJ, BUF and PIT are gonna cost us a playoff birth. Rangers have played well enough against the Caps and Isles this season so they’d be a good matchup if we got that 4 seed.
Would love to see the Caps and Isles crap the bed the rest of the season after they gave up their 1st round picks.

It's tough looking at the standings in other divisions knowing we would be 4th everywhere other than our division, smh.
