The entertainment value of Colorado winning tonight and than a Game 7 and playing Vegas in what likely would be an en fuego WCF trumps moving up one measly spot in the draft especially because the faith I have in our scouting dept is about as high as it's ever been.

I could not give a rat’s ass about the entertainment value in comparison to having a better draft position. End it tonight, Dallas.

Meh...one draft slot position means squat at that part of the draft....sorry it just does. It's no biggie. In fact I hope Gorton trades down if he doesn't see something he really wants and gets more draft capital.

One more spot to be able to move up if the right player drops, or better value if the Rangers want to trade down. Goodbye Avs.

not sure this is exactly worth bragging about considering that there are only like 5-6 non-canadian coaches in the league

So youre rooting for an Avs win and a higher 3rd round pick over a Stars win and a higher 1st round pick?
 
LeBrun seems to think that Laine ends up in Carolina if he gets moved and it makes sense.

If theres one scenario that would scare me, that is pretty much it.

Its one teeny weeny spot for cripes sake. I've already been thru this with @jas. I get where he's coming from but too me it's really no biggie at all.

I want too be entertained and the Avalanche advancing do that for me....so shoot me for wanting that...lol

Alright alright...I admit I have an affinity for them. Having owned NMack the past 3 years in my big money keeper league and having added Burakovsky,Grubauer and Zadarov this past season, I watched them alot and I love their style of play. I actually think besides us, they are the most exciting team in the league to watch.

So yeah, I want to see as much MacKinnon as I possibly can and moving up one measly draft slot if Dallas wins the series just doesn't move the needle for me. More Av's please!!...:nod:

Besides, more Av's gives all of us more time to scout them for the inevitable Cup final or two we'll be playing versus them a few years from now....lol

There's definitely a fit for a trade between those two. Carolina's the only other team that I think is trending the same way the Rangers are in the East and I think they're already a season or two ahead

OK that's fine...your prerogative and so we'll hope for different things tonight. Either way we can't lose as there still would be a Game 7 even if I get what I want and more Av's. Let's see how the cards fall tonight.

Yup and an environment where he'd end up figuring it out.

Then theres Terevainen and Svechnikov right behind them. Their defense will end up taking a hit but they churn out quality D in their sleep. If they ever get a goalie? Yeesh.
