I mean their 1 and 2 got hurt.

Not that their #2 was any good.

Francouz had a great regular season. I watched him a ton. It can be argued he was better than their perceived #1 Grubauer. In playoffs yeah...Francouz played nothing like he did during the season. That had alot too do tho with Colorado being pretty horrific in their own end this entire playoffs.

Honestly I’m stunned.

Their 2 needs an upgrade but he just got a 2 year contract. I wouldn't go into playoffs with that tandem next year if i was them

Grubauer was fantastic last year during the playoffs for the Av's. He was doing very well this year until he got hurt. Francouz didn't play as well as he did during the playoffs as he did in the regular season where he was stupendous.

I would not be surprised in the least if that's the tandem Sakic sticks with next year as with some improvement on the back end...hello Bowen Byrum, the Av's goaltending would be just fine. You could be right and Sakic will make a move for one of the available UFA goaltenders but my hunch is he won't....we'll see how it plays out.

Ready to admit I was wrong about JT Miller.

I think he's in a situation that plays to his strengths and masks/minimizes his weaknesses.

When you see him in Vancouver, he's really not that different of a player than he was in NY. So it's not really that he unlocked a hidden part of his game.

Same. Getting too big for their britches. Hopefully Vancouver suffers the same fate. And obviously the Long Island team too.

I dunno...I'm rooting and hoping the "Thatcher Demko Experience" continues. He's been alot of fun too watch as has been the Canucks. And it helps our draft position. Screw Vegas. It's time for them to have their hearts broken again like last year vs the Sharks....Go Canucks!!
