If things get postponed/cancelled .....I have a feeling we will eventually see a playoff for the Cup that has EVERY club involved . We will see playoffs that are best of 3 in the early rounds for the non playoff clubs with the winners moving on to play another . It can still all finish in early June and revenue would likely be even higher for the league because of the elimination series . This also gives some clubs a chance to recoup some loss revenue. It likely would also provide for some upsets along the way ....could get very interesting for sure depending how it all gets set up by the league .

The problem is if just one player gets it, it's going to shut everything down. With so much bodily fluid flying around, spitting on the ice, spitting on the benches, mouth guards on the dashers, close proximity during scrums, it's bound to spread very fast. I hope we can get games in while the arenas are empty, but I'm dreading them just pulling the plug for the safety of the players, refs, coaches, equipment team, etc.
