I'm still befuddled how we lost to Ottawa after not letting them out of their own zone the first 10 minutes and us coming off a strong game against one of the hottest teams in the West at the time (Nashville).

Devils got shutout by Oilers 4-0. They desperately need a coaching change. That team should be better with the talent they have. It has to be coaching.

Not saying their coaching is good but I just don't see the talent. Their goaltending is mediocre at best along with their defense.

They'll fire Hynes eventually and start winning some games. They're not talented enough to be a playoff team though. Simmonds is cooked, Subban is a shell of himself, Gusev has not been good enough, Hall on the way out, Nico not breaking out like they expected, and some of the worst goalies in the league. But who knows maybe Domingue can turn that ship around LOL

I kind of liked JT Miller but he was very inconsistent for us with that edge you're talking about.
