Even if he signs in NJ, that contract will be... well, let's just say they can crack their jokes about Panarin now, but this is how Hall will compare to him then: 1) one year older; 2) twice the mileage; 3) no consistency. Plus they can use the Hart trophy and Panarin's contract to get a massive deal.

I kind of remember him as one of our better prospects at the same time thinking he was never going to make it. The NHL was a little bit too fast for Marek IMO and he really didn't excel in any particular thing. He was a good AHL player but that's about it.

I hate it too. It sounds ridiculous. I strongly dislike McMahonisms in general because everyone winds up sounding fake and robotic. "Championship Opportunity" sounds so convoluted instead of just saying "Championship Match."

Though I do get a kick out of him hating sneezing.
