I finally saw the video, a less graphic clip that ends before any blood or aftermath, and it was shocking to see , after reading people’s description of it that it was a “freak accident” on a “nothing play”, when in reality the guy comes flying in with a Liu Kang jumping sidekick straight to the throat.

Even if you don’t want to say it’s intentional, it was at the very least extremely reckless.
Agree.

So many teams have good young players like J.Hughes, Cooley, McTavish, Beniers, Mintyukov, Stuzle, Bedard, Sanderson, Carlsson, L.Hughes, Fantilli, Johnston, Jarvis. Really wish we had one of those.
I know what you're saying especially when it comes to forwards but I put K'Andre up there. Has talent you can not teach. 45-50 point guy at what 22/23 years old with basically no PP time. Yeah I put him up there with those guys.

Yeah he is a hell of a player. He salvaged that draft. But like you said would love for us to have a stud forward who we can watch grow with the team. Its just fun to cheer for that.

The reffing is getting out of hand. First the Ducks game then the Rangers game. Pittsburgh did not need to be awarded a 5 on 3 because the refs feelings were hurt. Cronin getting tossed would have been more than sufficient.

Then the call on Lindgren, a critical point of the game, you don’t call even borderline stuff.

Something needs to be done and if Bettman is just going to be like “oh don’t abuse the officials” well maybe they need to be more competent.
Don’t fix the problem, just silence the criticism. That always works out well in the end.

Lias Andersson with 7 goals and 2 assists for Laval in 7 games. Maybe he’s finally figuring it out.
He's not. He did this with the Reign too. He's a very good AHL player (and I assume he'll head home at some point and be a very, very good player in Europe), but his first step (what a surprise with a Rangers draft pick) and defensive awareness aren't good enough for the NHL level
