At least Dallas lost tonight

Win our final 2 games against the Fishies and Senators and we lock up the President's Trophy

Had we taken care of business the last 2 games we could've rested the final 2, guess we decided to do it in reverse
I'm usually a glass half full guy but I have zero faith they win their last 2 games which would clinch division, conference, and PT. What I do see happening is Rangers maybe winning one of their next 2 and Carolina winning out and taking the division. This would truly suck since they have been in 1st all year but it's gonna happen.

Yeah, and the majority of people still think they are brilliant for cheating. Most of us here are not doctors and we all saw this coming. Hope the Blues somehow pass them and they miss the playoffs.

They should just name them the Vegas PTIR’s at this point. Playoff time injured reserve.

Would this really be the worst thing though? Assuming everything else stays as is, we avoid Pitt in round 1 and get the isles. Assuming we get past them we wouldn't have home ice against Carolina, but an easier 1st round would be a bigger advantage

Maybe, maybe not. Still you are leading the division all year and most points in the league for a long stretch you should be able to seal the deal especially considering the competition and the schedule with no travel the last 5 games. It should not have been that difficult and home ice does matter especially with game 7's if there were to be any. We don't even know who the 8th see will be. It could also be Detroit or Washington as well as Pitt.

As unlikely as it is, hoping for STL tonight.
If CAR loses, I think we’d only need 1 point in last two to win the division.
STL is in a must win game so it's possible. Especially seeing Carolina resting a few players. It's actually smart of them to get some of their bench players some ice BEFORE the POs so they aren't jumping into high stakes game having not played in 20 games.

Blues PPG early in the second. Kyrou. 2-1

EDIT: Buchnevich misses a wide open net, and the Canes turn around and score. 2-2.
