Where else should it be? ABC has the bowl games which is more important.

TNT is also channel 3 on Spectrum which is a nice low channel number.

I think it's because you need cable/service package/streaming app in order to get it as opposed your standard channels (CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, etc.)

None of those channels hold any NHL rights aside from ABC who chose football. I’m not sure I understand the argument here, then.

That it's not a basic channel, and some streaming apps don't readily have it: Former Fubo user here.

There could have been the possibility of having it on prime time on ABC, unless the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a ratings hit for them.

How would it have made sense to put the Winter Classic on ABC over the college football playoffs? Those games are significantly more important and also more popular.

TNT games are also on HBO Max which has good shit on it.
