They probably handled it the way they did because of how they disastrously handled Beach.
If Karma were going to do its job they wouldn't have ended up with Bedard to begin with.

The times I have seen Chinakov play he has seemed to be a pretty dynamic offensive player, no?
Guy was trying to hold the line to stay onside and the Penguin ran into him. I mean it's incidental contact so it shouldn't be a penalty but...
I've seen that called when it leads to a quality scoring chance (as this did) so yeah, they probably got boned here but they've been the beneficiaries of much more egregious shit over the years so f*** em.
Remember when Kakko got pushed into DeSmith by Dumolin (who ended up taking DeSmith and himself out in the process) and we had a goal disallowed? That shit still angers me.

People love to ignore how egregiously we were hosed in that 3OT game when talking about that series. Went from a last minute win to playing essentially an extra game that night and losing Lindgren and Goodrow to injury because PIT took out their own goalie.

i'll never forget that goal, it was f***ing awesome. it still counts in my book. one of the most BS calls ever.
i just watched it again, it's still amazing they called that no goal. kakko barely touches desmith and dumoulin just completely wipes him out of the crease on his own.

ya but they don't talk about rangers or devils or other metro teams when they win and seethe for me to enjoy. Rangers and Devils might not get along but it's a very good rivalry whereas the Islanders are just there.

I've said this before, but I work with both Islanders and Devils fans and the Islander guys want to talk in good faith, but the Devils fans just want to hate. They are negative fans, dark energy folks. They contribute to the accelerating expansion of the universe and are the direct cause of eventual heat death.
Seems like the Islanders fans I know are obsessed with the Rangers. Like it legit ruins their whole day when the Rangers win. One friend I have who is an Islanders fan even wants them to fire Lambert and hire Gallant because he thinks it would piss Rangers fans off. I told him most Rangers fans would likely laugh if Isles hired Gallant.
