I'm just going to say, the outburst from Seravalli here is ridiculous. Do your f***ing job, ask around what happened and then tell us like your job as an insider/reporter is. Instead of just crying out natural human behaviour of speculating while living without real knowledge.

There are insiders/beat writers who know what happened. They should be running home to write about it first instead of waiting for the organization, if they are even going to make a proper address at all. We'll see in two hours.

Vast majority of hockey insiders, professional and amateur, are full of crap or incredible inconsistent. But especially the professional ones outside of Bobby Margarita (and even then he's not the best). With the professional insiders, it's usually just stuff that has been in the media briefly before and then worded in such a way to protect their friendships with EVERYONE if they're wrong.

MLB/NBA have actual insiders who can regularly break stuff., and it's a shame that no one in the NHL is on that level.

Devils giving up 3.7 goals per game at this rate is hilarious. Makes their shit talking amazing. My NJD fan coworker came into work the other day saying the Devils were finally back to being a team that could beat anyone after Hughes/Hischier were back and I'm like "If Hughes/Hischier are the pivot between shitty and best, then the Devils are a shittier team than you think since the Rangers also went 10 games without their best player and 2C and went 7-2-1 how did the Devils do?"
