Idk which of those two teams I hate more (probably the Isles), but even though the Devils losing would be more important, I don’t mind trading that for the hilarity of the Isles failing to get a point with 21 seconds left.

f***ing joke of a team top to bottom.
Any fan base that gets more joy from our failure than from their own club's success I have less respect than time for.

This Toronto/Florida game is awesome. Too bad it ends in a skills competition. I could have gone another 15 minutes of OT.

Marner's controller got unplugged. LOL

Corey is a public figure under the law and therefore it isnt libel unless it is written with actual malice (i.e., with full knowledge that it is NOT true).

But don't bring it up anyway.

It’s the rules of the forum…

Lol no chance that Chinakov is worth more than what Beauvillier got. I got laughed out of that thread for saying he's not worth more than a 5th rounder next year.

these are the types of daily quandaries that will keep my mind sharp until I'm in my 90s figuring out who to hate more.

And that Beauvillier trade was a desperate to quickly replace a player one. Unless ..it was a favor?

They probably can't say much because of legal reasons, but wanted to address the rumours. Which was absolutely necessary IMO. Show the face of the franchise some support.

I wonder, is refusing to go to the players' assistance program grounds for terminating a contract? If so, that would be a pretty easy explanation of what happened here.
And yet they addressed rumors without actually addressing the rumors and still leaving plenty of runway for them. There were plenty of holes in the prepared statement and in the deliberate ways Davidson was answering the questions and what he was avoiding saying. The wording was very deliberate.

One of the points that Kyle Davidson spoke on was that law enforcement was not involved. I’m surprised that a reporter didn’t ask “that if the employee in the organization who was at the center of the internal investigation decided that they would like to see if they were a victim of a crime, would the Blackhawk organization support that employee decision “?

Some other details were reported and it indeed sounds like it involved a staff memeber

So most likely he sexually harassed or assaulted someone or physically assaulted someone but the person in question isn’t going to file charges at this time (probably because then their name gets put out there and all the stress of pressing charges goes on). Speculation really but when it involves a team staff member that seems logical
