Now it's gonna be Dallas vs Seattle. Already dead of boredom.

Other series in the West should be fire. Leafs vs Panthers should be fire.

I can see Seattle forechecking Dallas into submission. They will find it much tougher to score goals, however. Tough one, it's a toss up.

Can see Edmonton making quick work of Vegas. Ditto Toronto on Florida.

NYR or NJ/Carolina is going to go at least 6.

They'll have a much tougher time with Oettinger than Geo. But I think Seattle will beat Dallas.

I think the Rangers or Devils will have an easy 2nd round series for the most part. Canes have lost a lot of depth with their injuries and their goalie situation is okay, but nothing extraordinary.

If Rangers win tomorrow, I'd want to say in 5 against the Canes, but knowing how the Rangers never finish a series in under 6 games minimum, I'll go Rangers in 6.

Idk seeing how Florida played Boston. Toronto is gonna have trouble with their blend of transition and forecheck

Getting the Leafs and Vegas to the second round is important for hockey revenue. Hopefully the Rangers join them. Without jumping too far ahead if it gets to Rangers/Leafs in the Eastern Finals, it will really drive revenue. It could really affect the escrow conversation.

65 wins and 135 points during the regular season only to lose in the 1st round while up 3-1 in the series? My vote goes to the Bruins for sure.
I don't know. The Bruins-Florida series at least went 7 games and Boston almost ended it in game 5. Tampa had 128 points in 2018-19 and were swept by Columbus. I think that's worse.

I like Radiohead a lot, but I doubt I could pick Thom Yorke out of a lineup.

Florida's best hope is to slow down Toronto's forecheck and knock their star players around a lot. Toronto will smoke them if they try to turn this into a track meet like they did against Boston. They just played at Boston and forced them into enough of mistakes and outworked them enough to get it done. Toronto is much deadlier on the transition and off the rush. They'll have to adjust.

Avs fans are almost as entitled as Pens fans. Team moves from QC & they win it all in year 1. Created a spoiled, whiny fanbase who doesn't live in reality.
If there were ever a reason to give Quebec City a team again, it's this. I can't even imagine losing my team and then seeing them win it all the next season 1700+ miles away.

And the Nordiques were mostly terrible when I was a kid.

He won't and even if he did like I said the Panthers have to play 3x as hard just because their goaltending is so inconsistent. You can not trust Bob and lets be honest Lyon even if he had a nice stretch of games is not even an average NHL goalie. So yes Boston can have 25 shots and Florida 45 and Boston can still win handily by putting up 5 goals on the Florida d/goaltending.
Lol this aged well. Been saying Ullmark is a fraud and a product of the system all season.
