Sutter out in Calgary. Honestly don’t know much about his coaching style, but he seems like a prick that could humble the country club. Again, no clue if he’s a good fit but #coachwatch is in full effect if the Rangers lose tonight.

He won't come out here and I don't think I'd want him.

I don't hate the philosophy, I just don't think that a replacement should be someone that old school.

Theres no perfect option. The best way to get rid of a "country club" atmosphere is by getting rid of the country club ring leader.

Dolan? I'm only half kidding.

With Boston, Tampa, and Colorado out the path to the Cup is paved. This will be the best shot the Rangers can possibly have to win the Cup. If they f*** this up, then I don't know what to say anymore other than the whole thing needs to be blown up again and started from scratch and actually commit to the next rebuild.

No offense, as it's not only you, but I just can't get into this type of talk about the road being paved or how matchups favor this team or that team. There are reasons why those three teams were ousted, but primarily because their opponents persevered. Maybe their opponents weren't better on paper. Maybe we think we're the better team against certain other teams on paper. But the game is not played on paper. Just focus on tonight and focus on winning this one game.

Be tough to skate on paper.

It works for a short period of time.

Calgary was great 5v5. Huberdeau struggled with it. They hustle and play like men. Sutter doesn't pull any punches. I think he's the type of hardass we need.

I can see Brunette going to Calgary

The rangers for better or for worse will never fight their players.

They made a horrible trade. That killed them. Not Sutter’s fault. It’s rarely the coach’s fault, actually, I’d say.

I wish the Rangers can find their own Tkachuk Bennett Marchand types. We need skilled guys that played with grit in the top 6 not tanner glass goodrow vesey

Should have went after Barbashev Bertuzzi O’Reilly sadly cap space they couldnt afford any of those even with retention. Too much finesse will be the downfall of this team.

I think they did as good as they could considering Tkachuk wasn't going to sign.

Markstrom going pumpkin mode burned them. .892 sv%

I would have moved Mika for Tkachuk if that could have been a possibility . Tkachuk brings excitement and passion. Goes to the net to score and very skilled. Hard to play against. Isnt that want Drury wants from this team, harder to play against?

we could have had Bennett for basically nothing, a 2nd + mid tier prospect. Gorton dropped the ball. Lots of us here were advocating for him.
