I'm fine with the refs tightening up their penalty range as long as they remain consistent.

Similarly, if they had been calling everything all game, then I'd be fine with that.

It's when there's no predictability to the calls that I get annoyed as hell.

Pavelski cross-ckecked in the chest off the face-off, he starts to fall (oddly) and as he's falling gets hit by a 2nd Vegas player. Pavelski hits the ice hard with his head and starts bleeding. No initial call by any official, but then they huddle up and call a 5-min major and game misconduct for some reason. Sharks score 6 seconds in and then continue to score, tying the game up
