The Rangers only find themselves in the position they do because they couldn't take care of their own responsibilities most of the season.

PHI has much more to play for in this game than PIT does.

Pit is injured, Philly is desperate. The Pens look like they're going through the motions, I will be shocked if the Flyers lose this game.

I wish we played with the urgency Philly has. These last 3 games the Rangers have been going through the motions.

We play Columbus again too. The way we've been playing we'll finish behind both. The team is just mailing it in right now while those 2 are getting points from the best teams in the league.

Glare on my face is the same it would be if the Rangers were losing. These games are starting to feel like the Rangers are playing. I am that upset, that angry when I see CBJ or PHI go ahead yet again.

Really need to have SOME help this weekend. If CBJ gets points tonight, and PHI wins both games against PIT.. oh man...

Pittsburgh really had nothing in this game. Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised...

but theres so much room for disaster this weekend

PHI win tomorrow, CBJ win tonight, Rangers loss tomorrow and we're really in chase mode.

If if IF the Rangers make the Playoffs, I want no part of the Flyers in the 1st round. Their defense actually looked decent since the Olympic break (yes I know, the Sharks scored 7, but that was largely on the goaltending; same for 1 of the 2 WSH games, can't tell about the other, as I haven't watched). If Mason doesn't have major brainfarts, they'll be hard to beat. I don't necessarily think we are the worse team, but the matchup is just horrible. They have guys who can make skillful plays, they have guys who can bulldoze their way through defenses (that's one of our major weaknesses, IMO), and guys like Timmo or Coburn let them transition very quickly. And they have guys like Rinaldo, Hartnell and Simmonds who can bring some extra nastiness in the playoffs. I honestly would rather play the Pens, I think the Flyers would destroy us.

I hope Pittsburgh at least plays with some pride tomorrow at home after this embarrassing effort. I can take a loss by them if they're not mailing it in, so that at least I won't feel like Philly is getting free points. If we by some miracle beat San Jose, I will feel good about this team again. They're towards the end of a long road trip though and have been in a bunch of close games, I think we can steal one.
