Jackets remaining schedule:

vs CAR - W
@ MTL - W
vs NYR - W
@ NYI - W
vs DET - W
vs PIT - OTL
@ CAR - L
vs COL - W
@ PHI - L
vs CHI - L
vs NYI - W
vs PHX - W
@ TB - W
@ FLA - W

That makeup game @ DAL, already up 1-0, W.

Blue Jackets have a fairly tough schedule remaining. Of their remaining 15 games have maybe 9 quality opponents.

Philly, Pitt, Detroit, Tampa, Colorado, Chicago, Dallas, Montreal, NYR

So naturally, they will win all those games.

Columbus has 2 regulation losses since the break, one of those @ Chicago.

They are playing their best hockey of the year, and the Rangers form is poor.

Columbus just took 3 out of 4 points vs SJ and @ MIN. Rangers picked up 0 @ CAR and @ MIN. Lucky as balls to win last night.

It just never stops.

It will be April 12th soon enough.

Actually now that I look at it. Rangers have the easiest schedule out of the teams they are competing with. Detroit, Philly, and Columbus have at least 9-10 tough opponents. While the Rangers really only have San Jose, Philly, Colorado and Montreal.

I don't care what the records are, that road trip to the northwest is never a cakewalk.

Vancouver and Calgary don't have horrible home records. Colorado is tough. Edmonton beat us at MSG.

We're dropped too many points recently and only APPEAR to still be ahead because we have played more games. Philly and CBJ look better than us right now.

I'll say there playing better then us when they beat us

Like when Philly beat us in our second game back after the Olympics? We look like the inferior team right now, there's no doubt.

They didn't deserve to win last night. Hank and Hags bailed them out.

They look like flat **** since the Olympics. Need to start shooting more.

I think it's Wild Card or bust. We were playing real well once upon a time. Now we look like scrubs.

They had a rough 3 game stretch. It happens. Thankfully they stole 2 points from Winnipeg.

There are basically 5 teams fighting for the 2 automatic Metro spots. NYR, CLB, PHI, WSH, NJ.

Philly's schedule is insanely hard. I really can't see them finishing ahead of us. Same with Washington. The Caps next 6 games are: TOR, @ANA, @LA, @SJ, LA, BOS.

Columbus has a decent schedule and seems to keep getting results against good teams. It'll be a tight race with them. I'd like to say NJ is dead in the water but you can't really count them out either. Even though these last 2 losses really hurt them, they have a very favorable schedule. To put it into perspective, if the Rangers went 7-7 the rest of the way, the Devils would have to go 10-4 to pass them.

Am I the only one ridiculuously impressed by Krejci's pass to Lucic? Was it deflected? Because that's a play only a world class creative player can accomplish, which we're rarely seeing in today's NHL.

Eh. It's a good play but I don't think it's THAT ridiculous. He had the puck on his stick and was able to flip the puck over the Lucic before he got tripped up.

The really amazing part is how bad the CAR D was there.

Maybe if MAF wasn't such a ****ing showboat with the glove hand, he would've just caught that :dunno:

LOL at Crosby going at Hartnell after that hit, and just skating away. So funny. What a hit by Hartnell.

2-0
