That just proves anyone can win in the NHL..which is why I'm not worried about the rangers
Personally, I love Lucic. I wish we had a player like that. Dude can drop anyone with his fist and still score 25-30 goals.

Can you imagine if Boston traded for Backes? Backes centering Lucic would be like the bash brothers from Mighty Ducks.

Lucic is a great player, overrated though IMO
Nice move by Tavares. I understand talking **** to other fans, but picking on a kid is ridiculous.

Most Bruins fans care more about Lucic getting into fights and looking tough than actually winning games. Its all they talk about. "Looooocheech is soo tuff no-one would mess with him! he'z like the tuffest guy in tha nhl".
And then he goes and scores ~25 goals/~55 points a season, plays on the PP and PK, and can physically destroy anyone he wants. Of course teams have a population of vocal fans that only care that he punches people in the face, do you not expect that with the way he plays? As much as I and anyone who isn't a Bruins fan despise him, it's tough to call him overrated when he does everything and well.
No, I expect it. And would I say he is overrated? I don't know. He is someone I wouldn't mind having ina Ranger jersey, thats for sure. I think the toughness of the Bruins is a bit overrated though. He is a large part of that.

I get what both of you guys are saying but I didn't mean I liked Boston's fans. I just find it hard to dislike the team they've built. That roster and the way they play is quite enviable. I'm sure the fans can be unbearable though.
Oh, I agree. I am jealous of the way Boston has been built and is run. Some of the players I don't really care for but a nicely built team.

Someone mentioned in another thread that Boston still sustains some pretty nasty injuries despite all their "team toughness" so I'd definitely agree there.
