Coop is finished if they are eliminated. But can a different coach infuse a different attitude than their current laissez faire culture?

Pitt and Tampa are acting like absolute jerks. They thought the wins would just come instead of having to work for it and are lashing out. Sullivan/Cooper better get them under control.

And after getting 2nd OA, I'm like "what conditional picks?" Tampa can suck it.

Only 2 of the last 28 teams to go down 0-2 in a series have come back to win it. Mathematically 7.1 percent chance of a comeback for TB. Cooper's teams are 4-8 in Game 1s but lost for the first time in the last six Game 2s when down 0-1.

Tampa is far from out of it, but I’m not surprised at what has gone down.

We had far too many losers that have been passed on to Tampa. Those Ranger teams were simply incapable of closing out a series - each year would we agonizingly limp through the playoffs, no matter how hot/cold we were going into them, only to be bailed out by Hank in Game 7s.

Cally, McD, Miller...none of them had a rep for stepping up when the going got tough. Zucc, Stepan (one big goal doesn’t change this) and Nash weren’t any better in that department.

While this may be true and makes us feel better, their biggest problem is their goal-tending and disappearance from their stars so far.

This is really short-sighted and it's hard for me to understand how anyone can be so spiteful as to prefer this course. There is an enormously huge difference between picking in the bottom of the 1st and the bottom of the second and we should all be hoping Tampa wins the cup.

Their whole team is AV like. They’re gonna lose.

It makes you wonder if it was more the attitude of those players, than AV. Probably both, but far to much leeway seems to be given by coaches to more veteran teams. Not really a surprise that 'their farm team' had much of the same problems they are now witnessing. Thankfully, we avoided giving out the huge contracts that they will be saddled with for years.

On another note, a little disappointed in the supplemental discipline for Kucherov. I know playoff suspensions are valued as more serious than regular season ones, as they should be, but that was just a completely dirty play and utterly blatant.

Dumb play and suspension is deserved. TB looks completely outclassed by Columbus. if bobrovsky is past his playoff failures then look out.

In all honesty, my main rivals (ATM) are:

#1 The Pens
#2 The Debbies
#3 The Flyers

Sames. I actually really felt for the Islanders how Tavares completely big leagued them and left for Toronto. The way they regrouped and came out with a chip on their shoulder.. they are a hard team to hate with the way they play. Very reminiscent of our 2012 team that we all adored. Might not be the most talented team but God damn if they're not going to out hustle you every night.

I also out finessed my entire fantasy hockey league and waited on drafting a goalie and ended up with Lehner and he carried me to a first place and championship finish and a nice fat $$$ payout. So I'm down with him doing some damage this postseason. Hard to not pull for him knowing what he went through last year.

Give me an Isles-Leafs ECF. That has the potential to be an all time classic series.

I'm guessing because the player was not injured. He got right up and went after Kuch.

I mean I'm not gonna start kissing asses, specially not fishpeople's, but there is Greiss, who has come a very long way in this league. I'm sympathetic to their cause this year. Specially against the Pens in the first round.

Barzal is a nice story and all. I think ultimately in three years, they will be back at the top of the main rivals list.

We will clash, and we better feed them their teeth.

Believe it or not Kucherov sitting a game may actually help them. They need a shake up and he needs to think things over.
I really doubt it. Stamkos sitting might help since he’s a total non factor in important playoff games but Kucherov would likely be a piece of them turning it around.

You people are crazy.
The enemy will always be New Jersey and Long Island. Always.
