Ryan McD is playing well. His lateral movement is back. Hope he gets a Cup. For his sake and ours.

How about our boy Danny G, who apparently wasn't good enough to play (and got bought out) on this sh*tshow of a defense but is good enough to play nearly 18 minutes/game for the Stanley Cup favorite -and- having a positive corsi to boot?

Too bad he's injured and out for a bit now. I'd like to see him lift that Cup, too.

Really wish we bought out Staal instead. I don't want to watch him anymore.

Misread but yes, I agree. Management seemed really down about Girardi's physical condition but it's hardly something that an off season can't heal whereas Staal was on a sharp decline.

Has a lot more to do with the usage he is getting...

Not getting any further into this

Oilers up 2-1 early in third. Panarin Zero goals in last 10 games in the most important stretch maybe in franchise history. I like Panarin but if he doesn't help get this team in the playoffs can he still justify 10/11 million plus per season for his next contract?

Panarin has checked out. I want no part of this player. Watching him play tonight reminded me of Zuccarello waiting to be traded.

Yeah he looks so disinterested right now. I know its a tough race in the east compared to the west but if the Jackets don't make it it's gonna be a huge failure.

It's now 4-1 I'm ready for the Tort's post game interview lol.
Looks like an exhibition game for the Jackets tonight

Some other teams fans are probably saying just this same thing about us
We should have shut down fast and Kreider a while ago if that was the case unlike the debbies who shut down everyone pretty much.

Jeez the Jets are getting POUNDED by Vegas. Knights are turning it on at the right time. They could go deep.
They look really really good. If fleury comes back healthy and plays well they should be the favorites in the west (I know it may sound crazy).

Jets shutout the Ducks the night before, Hellebuyck was awesome.

Came out flat next night, 5 games in 7 days.

Oh, and Vegas is 9-1 in their last 10. Their last home loss was 2/22, 6-3 loss against.....the Jets.

TV pundits keep disregarding Vegas excluding them from West’s top4 or 3 main contenders and it’s puzzling because this was the team that deservingly made it to SCF and that made significant improvements in the offseason and TD.

Their D is their weak link & has the possibility of being exposed in the playoffs. Fleury was able to cover it up during their run to the Finals last year, but Washington took advantage when MAF was simply human. One area they haven't upgraded since then was the D. Engellend is a year older & sometimes looks serviceable while other times looks like a traffic cone. Holden, as we know, should be a 7th or 8th D.

With that said, it's totally possible they make a deep run again.
