They're close.

But even at 2-3, the Rangers would need to bag 7 points. I don't see that happening either.

Agreed. Hopefully that happens. Will be similar to garnering a second round pick if its a differnce of around 4 spots higher (i.e. costing us a second rounder to go up and grab K'Andre)

Nah, Anaheim will have 2 more games played than us. We need to get the same or less points in 9 games as they get in 7 games.
