Dude is on another plane of existence. So fun to watch the trio of Stamkos, Point, and Kucherov go to work. If we had just one of those type of guys we would see a difference. Calling Panarin? Stayed up for that game last night, Girardi was a healthy scratch, Callahan scored a beauty and had 2 points, so was worth the loss of sleep, lol

Is it our scouting or development that is making this happen? It's been that way in our history, really, if you think about it. I can only think of Jean Ratelle as the only elite forward we've drafted. Alexi Kovalev was good too but I don't know if he'd be considered elite class type of player.

Jean Ratelle wasn’t drafted. Rick Middleton and Tony Amonte were.
 
Everyone and their cat got points last night, and the Flyers got one today.

Things really breaking for the Rangers the last few nights around the league.

When we were a Cup contender, LA was under my bed. Now we're tanking and LA is still under my bed.

I don't get how every other team has multiple guys on pace for like 200 points, and there's still teams worse than us

You know what the most ridiculous thing is? Florida is tied with us. How is that possible? The seem to live and die with Luongo but look at the talent they have.
 
Some of the teams behind us are starting to get their act together. Kings, Blues, Hawks & Devils will likely shoot past us by months end.

Bottom 4 by the TDL in no particular order will likely be Rangers, Flyers, Sens & Coyotes.

Who even knows about them. Arizona went on an absolute tear last year when they were all but eliminated. Maybe they choke, but play better when the stakes are low. Philly is underachieving badly. They don't fire everyone to just throw in the towel. They could snag a goalie and make a run.

And maybe we are the anti-yotes, totally quit when its out of hand. They stunk post TDL last year and mailed it in when Pit and Col got away from them.
 
Tampa’s streak ended last night with a 5-2 loss to San Jose. They seem to struggle against the contending western teams.
 
I was listening to a podcast the other day....I wanna say it was blueshirts breakaway...and in the podcast they had the buffalo sabres writer from the athletic, forget who it was. Anyways he was talking about c.m. and basically said he's been a disappointment but he's still very young.

Same thing we'd say about lias.

Watching OTT vs CAR just to find out if they can find a way both teams get no points. If there's two teams that can do it, it's them.
