Yea. That's really what this argument should be saying. Guys like Lucic are much more effective when they AREN'T taking stupid penalties and are playing the game. Shaw is the same way, let him by physical, let him talk, but taking a tripping or hooking penalty or whatever else is in no way a positive play for his team.

Thank you. What makes lucic a good player is that he's tough and can put up points period. Nothing to do with penalties, some guys get a longer leash from the coach staff if the approach to a penakty is strategic in nature and not lazy or stupid.

I don't think they can officially sign a contract until then. It's more of a "gentleman's agreement".
