I would think they play him. nice try though
Why not just send him down the normal way if he isnt going to play with the Sabres?
Oh thats right. Silly rule really, hate when some bureaucracy messes with young players development.Nice try?
They don't want to play him I think that much is obvious, they can't send him to the Q unless the Remparts want to trade him or one of their other import players. Which is probably the most likely outcome.
He's not AHL eligible he came from the Q, those kids have to wait until they're 20 to play in the AHL. Unless they changed it, which they didn't because they would have assigned him instead of trying to send him down on a conditioning assignment.
depth in goal is important to have...
Kings GM have announced that Quick is out till Christmas at least..

For those who haven't seen it, in the 1st period between Ottawa and Minnesota, Clarke MacArthur made this absolutely gorgeous between-the-legs pass to Kyle Turris for a SHG. Absolutely beautiful. Wow.
You make your own luck in this league. Go hard to the net and good things happen. Although it would be nice to have our opponents score for us once in a while I guess.
The best thing that could have happened for the Devils is the Salvador injury. They brought up Gelinas who can actually provide some offense from the blueline, something they have been sorely lacking in recent years. That and Brodeur seems to have found the fountain of youth. And cheesburgers.
