Some of the things Pouliot does with the puck are inexplicable.

I have never seen a dumber player in my life. And that is not exaggeration.

Edit: meant to post in the GDT, sorry.

with the Bruins playing tonight vs Carolina Hurricanes lets hope they are too tired for tomorrow night vs Rangers.

@EdmontonOilers 4m
#Oilers place goaltender Jason LaBarbera on waivers.

Yannick Weber might be an interesting pickup as a depth dman. only 650k for the rest of this year, he has a cannon of a shot and is a RHD. How many contract slots do we have available?

Only 12 minutes in but the Ducks are just smacking the Penguins around. Goes to show what a total joke the East is this year.

Pittsburgh hasn't had a shot on goal yet.

Well they didn't smack them around on the scoreboard, so the "joke" East team gets the 2 points.

So with the "Road to the Stadium Series" or whatever it is...does that mean there will be no 24/7?

Loved what HBO did. To be honest I am worried that an NHL/NBC production will involve too much censorship and not provide as close/real of a look. Like if NBC handles it how they handle in game broadcasts I may puke.

Why would one cancel out the other? Did you see anything suggesting that?

If there's no 24/7 this year I'll cry

Maybe Pierre will narrate it.

Two weak ass chump points because they are weak and from the weak east where everyone is weak except the non weak Bruins and "our fans think we're the toughest team ever" Leafs.

Had no clue about that but its sure sounds awesome, HBO will do a winter classic series with Red Wings and Leafs.

Sabres sent Ristolainen, and Larsson to Rochester. Zadorov back to junior and they are trying to figure out what to do with Grigorenko. Do they have a gameplan? Trying to protect those kids from failure I'm sure but they said they wanted to get older, are they going to actually try and win some games?

i think the plan was always to send zadorov down. these players arent good enough to play in the nhl right now, so theyd be better off developing outside the nhl at this point.

You can't rebuild without a solid group of veterans to help the kids along, and Buffalo is such a disaster that it makes more sense to get the kids away from that environment asap. They're probably going to make a few moves to bring in some plugs to fill the holes left in the lineup, but losing only breeds more losing.

You can't build a winning team when you spend years promoting losing. Case-in-point: The Edmonton Oilers.

Agreed on all points I wouldn't keep them around either, probably would have reassigned them earlier. I guess with the new front office the mindset might have changed.

Absolutely brutal slewfoot by Scottie Upshall on Chris Tanev. His leg slammed into the boards ala Pitkanen. Just awful.

And people wondered why no one felt bad when Kreider destroyed that ****ing thug.
