Bedard will probably hear things about his mom for years on the ice just because of a dumb meme. Poor guy.

In the SHL a players' girlfriend actually cheated during the break for the national team with a player he ended up facing in the shl finals. The other team quoted his girlfriend and gave him intimate details during the games. He didn't perform very well during the series. Hockey players are assholes.

Didn't the fans bring giant inflatable novelties?

The dildo and chocolate pudding tifo (thrown onto the ice) were directed towards janne huokko in hockeyallsvenskan. The fans that did it (AIK) are known to be the most predatory in Sweden and it was probably the football section of the fans that did it.
This particular case was an ex girlfriend leaking revenge porn.

The case with the cheating girlfriend was Djurgården-Färjestad waaaaay back. The Djurgården players still brag about it, I guess they have no sense of shame.

I feel pretty good about both AIK and Djurgården becoming irrelevant as hockey teams.

Watching the Leafs-Panthers game and their are only five ex-Sabres in it tonight. Dalpe, Fitzgerald, and Asplund are all back in Charlotte.

I read this as the eighth one of the game at first. I was thinking that had to be a record. And now I’m wondering what that record is.

Leafs are leading the league with 8 per an in-game mention. I haven't found the stat anywhere to see where Buffalo sits. I was thinking they have four or so thus far.

It still takes me a few seconds to understand people are saying "Jack Hughes" instead of "J'accuse," the french term, and I have no idea why it happens since I don't speak french and have only used that term maybe once in my life. Anyone else having that specific problem?

Well, I didn't before, but I will now! I am reminded of how an EA NHL game pronounced Kristian Huselius as "Useless," which ruined me for the rest of his career.

Sucks to watch, but disagree of the conclusion they came to about the hit and the age of the player. That literally was the Umberger Hit in a different zone with the exact same result. The lesson should be about players reading the ice and knowing where guys are, and their teammates understanding how to read where the play is headed. All players, of all ages, regardless of the league they are in, should learn from it.

I don't get McCagg at all. It's something that happens in hockey. You can get hurt in pretty much every sport. Should snowboards not jump until they are 21? Should you wait until 30 to ride a horse?

Guys: Did you know that when Bill Dineen was coaching the Flyers he was in a relationship with the mother of one of his players?
