I didn’t post the graph, but it actually seems like a good representation of components of suckiness for these guys.whatever
Yes, I know you didn't post it, but it's still a shitty graph.I didn’t post the graph, but it actually seems like a good representation of components of suckiness for these guys.
Must see TV right there. But who do we want to win...There's a greater than 0% chance that Friday, November 12th becomes must watch hockey for hockey fans everywhere. Arizona and Chicago could both enter this head-to-head matchup with zero combined wins against 27 combined losses. If the cosmos could find a way to make this happen with two oh-for-the-seasons meeting in a battle of futility, I might just have a happy holiday season because of that alone.
Because of what has transpired in Hawk land, because we are blues fans with the Hawks as hated rivals and because the the Yotes have been bad for so long, I would vote for a Yotes win.Must see TV right there. But who do we want to win...
I would as well, but, I also want the Hawks to win enough so that only qualify for the 3rd overall pick or later.Because of what has transpired in Hawk land, because we are blues fans with the Hawks as hated rivals and because the the Yotes have been bad for so long, I would vote for a Yotes win.
TouchéI would as well, but, I also want the Hawks to win enough so that only qualify for the 3rd overall pick or later.
I just want then to be bad enough that they suffer, but, Good enough that they don't get a top two overall pick. It's probably pretty toxic of me. But I want them to have a hard time crawling out of that hole they dug themselves into.Touché
They traded their pick to Columbus, but get it back if they win 1st or 2nd pick in the draft lottery. Doesn’t matter where they actually finish.I would as well, but, I also want the Hawks to win enough so that only qualify for the 3rd overall pick or later.
It does because where they end up in the standings determines what chance they have to get a lottery pick. They traded their pick to Columbus, but get it back if they win 1st or 2nd pick in the draft lottery. Doesn’t matter where they actually finish.
Did they pull off an Eichel deal already?
Tuch and Theodore make just under $10mm combined, so maybe start there. What would Vegas even trade for Eichel, and how would they fit him under the Cap when he’s ready?

yeah, I suspect picks or prospects on top of those 2.Yep. All these Vegas fans think its going to be easy and cheap to get done. Its a minimum of 2 well regarded roster players just to get the cap CLOSE, plus a top prospect and multiple picks. Its going to hurt, and I'm not sure that its going to fix their issues without taking steps backwards more than forwards.
I mean Theodore is the obvious choice - he's cheaper, signed through what you would expect to be his prime, and at significantly less dollars. That contract is a bargain. AP is a great player, but he's around market value and older. If I'm building a team around Eichel and the next 4-5 years, Theodore is the obvious keep.If you were Vegas and had to choose between Pietro and Theodore today, ignoring the NMC, who would you pick?
