Its a REGULAR SEASON AWARD.

I don't understand why people don't realize this

I know its a regular season award, but I fail to see why a GM that has built a flawed roster, and then makes a ton of moves which do not address these flaws at all can be GM of the year.

Sure, he got Iginla for pennies on the dollar, but Iginla had basically no impact.

Morrow for Morrow was laughably bad.

Murray was another awful pick up, at a ridiculous price.

The Staal trade may be good in the long run but it hardly improved the team this year.

Gave away Michalek for nothing despite the D being shaky as it was.

Corey Crawford wanted to look at video of himself last year and find out his weaknesses. Then he wanted to find a goalie who plays deeper in his net and wanted to watch video of that goalie.

He chose Lundqvist.

Pretty cool, IMO.

Did not realize how much of a ******* Chara is.

There's a reason I'm cheering for the Hawks. Feel sorry for Jagr having to play with these guys

Please announce the Vezina early in the pre game, if I have to wait the full hour of the show and listen to Millbury and Jones I just might have to slam my head repeatedly into a wall until I pass out

They'll probably announce it after the Norris but before the Hart. At least that's what I think.

Go Hank!

I'll bet it now.

Next year, Bobrovsky will have a 3.00 GAA and a .91 sv%.

Which goalie will have a career year next year?

I'm thinking Andrei Pavolic is poised for a breakout season!

Bobrovsky with a total of 110 voting points (17-8-1), Lundqvist with 55 (3-12-4) and Niemi third with 46 (6-4-4).

Undeserved. People like Columbus as a "great story", but at the end of the day the team didn't make the playoffs.

 Niemi got more first place votes than Hank.

Apparently, the GM's are full of ****. Need a new face!

I'm gonna completely lose it if Ovechkin wins the Hart for a wonderful half of a half season.
