Around the NHL: Congrats Hawks on winning the STANLEY CUP

Jagr was basically just a passenger, his frustration didn't even look sincere at times. One of my all time favorites but I hope he hangs them up.

Jags never fit Boston at all. I hate to say it but Iginla made the wrong decision. He actually could have been a factor on a team like Boston.

Lol at bruins fans talking about luck on their boards. how about your lucky that toronto pulled a massive chokejob against you giving up a 3 goal lead late in the 3rd period? luck always plays a part in all playoffs. deal with it.

Be fair, its only a couple of their fans spewing that nonsense. Most of them, it seems, admit that Boston lost to the better team.

Your not going to expect uniformed rational thought from a fan base that just lost in the stanley cup final.

****ing LOLLLLLLL...

Yea. It's a bad look but the amount of things we could bump from a regular season loss on this board is enough to rival that. And that's just from my posts.

So, how drunk is Patrick Kane going to get? Will he wake up in a gutter somewhere?

Guy needs to do something about the mullet. He is starting to remind me of Buffalo Bill from "Silence of the Lambs."

Sather's comments were flat out absurd and that's all I'm going to say about that. Yet he's calling out others for being dinosaurs...:help: Slats is stuck in 1989.

Your post on the "Teflon GM" is spot on. Scotty Bowman forgot more about hockey than that senile old fool will ever know!!

No more laughing Rask! Yaaaaay,

Congrats Chi-town, makes the Rangers look like AHLers; Great team. Do they have a lot of FA's now?

Lol.

On the HNIC playoff montage, McDonagh and Boyle were chirping from the bench. I believe McD said that Boylers got a great shot or something from the bench. Or at least I think they were chirping, too drunk to tell.

Le sigh. Another cupless season by the Rangers, what makes it worse is that they're now cemented as the worst original 6 franchise in the league. Thankfully, they only had one a few shot of the Rangers and no goals scored against them like last year (Henrique, Neil OT goal).

Just for the record, for over a year and a half, I've been telling everyone to watch the smart way Chicago does it, not standing pat, not afraid to trade, not afraid to give young players a shot.

As is often the case, I was given grief, esp. since their G was so off last year, their approach could not possibly be good, could not have any interest or use to us. Lets look at the Bruins.

Once again, bernmeister, who doesn't get em all right, is proven more right than wrong.
