Kane joins good company. Leetch and Quick. Thomas can go **** himself since he doesn't deserve to be in said company.

First American forward CS winner, good for him. Love the kid. He may be a bit of a dbag off the ice but he's a hell of a player. Can't wait to watch him in the Olympics again!

Wow. I love hockey.

Honestly, I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of Bruins fans right now, and I can't. If that happened to the Rangers, everything in my house would be broken right now.

So easy to watch as a neutral fan. Feel terrible for Jagr.

Chicago Wins !!! Hawks and Jets were my other fave teams growing up.

What a great team, guts, skill and strength.

Big smile on my face seeing Roszy lift the Cup :handclap:

What a glorious finish to a tremendous series. Every year I watch as players hoist the Cup, some for the first time. To see their dreams come true is always amazing.

And each year I'm hoping NYR is the last one standing. I'm hoping I'm not kidding anyone lol.

Why? He didn't do crap for most the playoffs. He got to the dance without being much of a factor. On top of that, the guy has two Stanley Cup rings.

Guy didn't even play the whole year with Boston. He signed with Dallas. So the fact he even was traded to a team that made the playoffs should have been great.

I love Jags. But, I'm far from feeling sorry for him. I feel much happier for Rozi.

LOL, you beat me to it.

The Rangers have just had multiple long stretches of suckage, and that explains that.

Every organization does. All of them. The Blackhawks hadn't won a Cup in over 50 years and now won 2 in 4. Bruins hadn't won in over 40 before 2011. Even the Canadiens haven't won in 20 years.

Eventually we will have our moments.

Yeah I know, but at least the B's got a cup recently. Still sucks though.

On the flip side... I don't think I've been this envious of a cup win in a while, don't know why really.

Jagr was basically just a passenger, his frustration didn't even look sincere at times. One of my all time favorites but I hope he hangs them up.

Scotty Bowman talking about how goaltending and defense was the key to winning the series only days after Sather preached about how 6-5 games are better than 1-0 games. :help: I would love to have a great hockey mind like Bowman in our organization.

Sather's comments were flat out absurd and that's all I'm going to say about that. Yet he's calling out others for being dinosaurs...:help: Slats is stuck in 1989.

He hardly preached, he said it was more entertaining hockey, and it is. He also said that defense was still very important. Unless you read way into it I think everyone knows he was just suggesting the Rangers need more offense.
