Brian Dumoulin has as many goals as EK, which is two more than any of the other defensemen on the Pens…

again, you have to wonder what kind of scheme Sullivan is running and why all these players looked washed here and yet go on to play well elsewhere lol

I feel like a lot of us have stated this, it's always less so that the players sucked like so many here attested to and even swear by, vs them just being poorly utilized. I recall saying watch Dumoulin go and do well in Seattle where a coach uses him in a better way than Sullivan did.

And the issue was, that Sullivan kept using him as a top pairing D and then the system just makes everyone look bad in general so you almost have to play out of your mind to compensate for such a piss poor system.

I think it was more glaring at the hate Lafferty was getting here in Chicago, that he was "getting opportunities on a bad team" and that's why he produced well. Well he was sought after at the TDL and then signed in Vancouver and has been doing well here as well, it's funny. I liked Lafferty but the way he played here just seemed like he was confused on the role he needed to play, sounds very familiar to a lot of blokes here, not to many who will still say he sucked, yeah on the Pens because of how he was utilized.

In Vancouver, he's been a solid bottom 6 player, 10 games with 3 goals and 2 assists, playing a solid physical checking role and producing offense without being destroyed with usage and idiotic coaching. Meanwhile we've traded for, signed so many to get that sort of player and yet we kept dealing them away for them to play those roles better elsewhere. LOL...

Mark Friedman also off to a brilliant start in Vancouver.

Mike Sullivan’s list continues to grow. But he will never be held accountable for it because of “goaltending”.

Essentially Sullivan....

I think the funniest part will be if and when Sully is fired, Yohe and Rossi will act as if he was a martyr that the team let down lol.

In the heart of California's sunny glow,
The San Jose Sharks, their woes do show,
A team that's struggled, oh, how they fall,
In hockey's realm, they often hit the wall.

With hope and promise, their fans did cheer,
But disappointment looms year after year,
Their icy dreams melt into despair,
As victories slip through fingers, so unfair.

In teal and black, they strive to rise,
But often met with defeat's cruel surprise,
Their puck-handling skills, a feeble display,
The Sharks falter, night after night, they say.

Yet still, in every game they play,
The Sharks give their all, come what may,
For in the heart of fans, they'll always hold,
A glimmer of hope, through the challenges untold.

Been waiting for this for around 25 years. I think its finally here. The year of the youngster. Should have happened when Sid entered the league to maximize revenue….but whatever. Its good for the game.
