Wow do the Oilers suck hard. At least we won 3 cups with our core. Oilers are going to be cupless with this bunch.
I think they’re taking a page from Sid and G and trying to get the coach fired…that’s what it looks like to me lol

Mike Sullivan would get McDavid and immediately start talking about ways in which he could make him better by playing more like ZAR or something.

he’d say that they think they can work with him and bring a defensive conscience to his game…

With a surplus of NHL defencemen on the roster and Brett Pesce nearing a return from injury, the Carolina Hurricanes are looking to move out one of their blueliners.

Hurricanes GM Don Waddell is exploring the trade market and is believed to be willing to consider multiple options.

The news came out during Hockey Night in Canada’s “Saturday Headlines” segment with Elliotte Friedman, where Friedman reported Carolina’s activity.

“There is word Carolina is looking to move a defenceman. The name hearing a lot out there is Tony DeAngelo, but there are other things that the Carolina Hurricanes will potentially consider,” Friedman said.

DeAngelo, who turned 28 last week, is on a one-year, $1.675 million contract and is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

In the off-season, as TFP reported, the Hurricanes engaged in trade discussions with some teams involving Pesce, but Waddell held firm and kept the veteran blueliner.

Pesce is in the final year of a six-year, $24.15 million contract and owns a 15-team trade list and contract discussions with the Hurricanes have hit a wall, according to two separate sources. While a move is unlikely to occur in the season, the Hurricanes won’t shy away from inquiries.

Reaves is useless to prevent dirty plays? Who woulda thought
Marchand has the dops protecting him, he doesn't fear anyone.

Yeah, 150+ points is cool, but what if we had him producing like half that while pretending to also know how to play defense?
"Listen Conor, big fan, but I think to take you to the next level, playing with more sticktoitiveness will elevate your game..."

Calgary’s Andrew Mangiapane has been suspended for one game for Cross-checking Seattle’s Jared McCann.

I can't believe how incompetent the people in the Blackhawks org were to think that firing your perverted video coach would be more of a distraction than getting your team to be video coached by a guy they know is sending unsolicited dick picks and trying to rape their black aces. They obviously all knew this guy was a perverted freak - you have NOBODY in the org who can take his place to analyze hockey video? Absolute clown show.

I could have made a lot of money if I was into betting I guess. Thought TO and Edmonton would take potentially large steps back.
