SN panel whining about the refs in the Leafs game is simultaneously hilarious and nauseating

Good ol' epitome of locker room cohesion, Evander Kane, is Canadian.

Hell, right now, the rumored issues in the locker room is a Canadian and an American. Before that we had a Finn.

Clearly the solution is to draft more Swedes. Ignore the Karlsson-Hoffman debacle.
Hey, we even had a Swede waive his NMC for the good of the team. Bet you’d never see that from a dang dirty Yank :sarcasm:

American players are often toxic to everyone around them. I often wonder where we'd be had we drafted more Canadians and not had guys like trouba and copp influencing scheif et al.
Wow, this is just flat out ignorant. No other way to put it.

A lot of Canadian players don't want to in Canada some say too much pressure playing in Canada especially in Toronto and Montreal.
Burke has mentioned this a few times that signing Canadian FA is very tough for Canadian teams because they want to play in the states.

If you have money, USA is one of the greatest countries in the world. Can’t blame players for shunning Canada.

USA has won the cup 30 years in a row. No coincidence.

Bolts taking lessons from the Jets on how to hold onto a lead? Sit back and let them come at you in wave after wave.
It's in Toronto...

I don't think they are sitting back on anything... Toronto fans in a frenzy so the Leafs are flying...

Momentum has shifted and the Bolts need to chill it...

No matter where you fall on the Leafs, that building sounds like a ton of fun to be at right now. The difference between regular season Leafs crowds and playoff crowds.

You could say the same about every Canadian market and a handful of American ones too.

Playoffs amps things up for sure but I feel the difference here is that Toronto is full of business accounts there to network during the season, and not during the playoffs.

Places like Calgary, Edmonton etc are louder but I feel the fan makeup is the same. Similar to Winnipeg - the arena was louder during the playoffs than most regular season games I went to but I saw a lot of the same faces.

Fully expect a game 7.

As for the commentary, it must be easy to get caught up in the atmosphere there.
