Florida might of saved their post season with that OT win
They have been very underwhelming this postseason. They lose and it will be seen as massive choke job.

Well at least they will have the President's Cup banner to hang up in their unnamed arenaThey have been very underwhelming this postseason. They lose and it will be seen as massive choke job.

Another team in the playoffs mostly due to hot goaltending (looking at you, Rangers)Dallas is a mess in their end tonight.

I was referring to DallasAnother could easily have been Dallas, who were up 2-1 in no small part because of a .970 goalie. That seems to have regressed a bit tonight.

Every fan base does this. All the PGTs here after the Jets lose are about how bad the Jets were.
Both teams have had a bad game this series. Game 5 is must see TV.
Watching the Oilers-Kings. Oilers get away with 2 penalties while already on the PK and Singh and DeBrusk say nothing about it.
I know you like the Leafs but this board is no way near as bad when the team is losing compared to the Leafs board... I have literally seen posts on Leafs boards hoping for Mitch Marner's teeth to be knocked out at the beginning of the season when he was struggling.
Ha, yeah. That was the PGT after Marner lost a tooth and one of the most-liked comments was complaining he didn’t lose more. One of the most insane things I’ve seen on this websiteI know you like the Leafs but this board is no way near as bad when the team is losing compared to the Leafs board... I have literally seen posts on Leafs boards hoping for Mitch Marner's teeth to be knocked out at the beginning of the season when he was struggling.
sure, it's tbd if he keeps it up, but doesn't change the fact that he still was a 30+ goal scorer likely in large part playing a large amount of mins w/ Kaprizov.Meh, we’ll see if that lasts. He shot way above his career average this year.
1. Georgiev has had worse numbers each year. That's a bad sign in my book.
2. It doesn't matter what Comrie did, or didn't do in past seasons.
3. In both cases, it matters what they are doing this year. Comrie was a lot better than Georgiev this year. It showed right from his 1st start. After some number, 3-4-5 strong starts in a row, it might occur to the coach to use him a little more and see what happens. Especially since Helle's performance was less than spectacular.
4. We aren't talking about next year, or any other year. We are talking about Helle playing 10-15 games too many this year.
5. They might completely reverse next year. That's a different subject.

he played 65% of his 1490 mins (all strengths) with Kaprizov. i do not think he's played that high of a sum & proportion of minutes with a player of Kaprizov's caliber over a full season. given that, id expect him to score at a a bit of a higher rate than what he's usually converting at.
not sure as high as 14% though. but his career sh% was 9% coming into this year (difference of 12-13 goals over the same SOG volume), but i'd expect a bump if he's spending that large amount of time w/ Kaprizov.
if a bunch of players are having career years no doubt they'd be uber successful. how much of a drawback will they have if they fall off? not sure. might be minimal if they make improvements elsewhere on the lineupYeh i don’t wanna sound like I’m taking anything away from Kaprizov. He’s clearly an elite talent. Just not sure the Wild have the same success as some guys are having career years.
gonna be hard for improvements when they 12.7 in deadcap next year and 14.7 the following 2 yearsif a bunch of players are having career years no doubt they'd be uber successful. how much of a drawback will they have if they fall off? not sure. might be minimal if they make improvements elsewhere on the lineup
coming into the year i was a bit wary or curious on how good the wild were, since it was only 56 games against an anomaly of a schedule last year. but they followed last year's offensive showing (9th in all strengths GF/3rd in SH%. 6th/1st at 5v5) with another fantastic showing (all strengths: 5th in GF/2nd in SH%, 3rd/2nd at 5v5). are they that good? not sure, but they have room to fall off and still be a top-half offensive team.
