Yeah, hard to blame their 40 year old goalie who's being asked to make saves like that one on Kempe. It was literally a breakaway chance and the 2 Oilers backchecking didn't get to the rebound nor Kempe who basically had an open net to shoot at from the opposite circle as Iafallo shot from.
No, they don’t. A real shame they got McDavid in the first place too, considering all the lottery luck.
Hopefully the Kings can hang on.
How a team can still be stuck in the mud with all the top picks they got is just absurd.
They haven't deserved it but this is where superior skill pays off.

Imagine being able to start Draisaitl and McDavid in OT in the playoffs and they start it like that? Just completely pinned in their zone running around and then the on the fly change results in a turnover and it's in the net
They should be so much better and just aren't.

You would have to think that coaching in Edmonton despite the mess would be pretty enticing to Trotz. Especially considering the success he had with Ovi.
An Oiler 1st round exit may not be good for Jets fans wanting Trotz in Winnipeg.
Been watching the Carolina and Bruins series, please let the Jets play like Carolina someday.
And man it sucks that the Jets aren't in the playoffs, you just can't beat the energy and atmosphere of the NHL playoffs.

I want the Leafs to win. Can't stand teams that are circumventing the Cap plus you already are in Florida to begin with so you can get player to come for the lifestyle and tax breaks. Sure the fan base for the leafs is toxic at best but f*** the Lightening
The Oilers/Kings series I would liked to have seen a Oilers/Flames second round matchup but man they are still the one dimensional team that we played last year. I will be shocked if they pull it out in LA
