The change of scenery seems to have worked well here, he didn't seem to be great in Seattle over the last year and a half, but he seems to be doing well with the Rangers.
 
I suppose there is the Adams end of things, being so wrapped up in "his" guys on his prospect list vs. the Kings' method of "meh, whatever" with their once enviable prospect list -

Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said the team tried to trade Saad before putting him on waivers Tuesday but could not find a suitable deal. He has one more season remaining on the five-year, $22.5 million free-agent contract he signed in 2021.

“If we could find a match, we would,” Armstrong said. “The market speaks and then you just react.”
