If they wanted to offer sheet someone, they needed their OWN 3rd back. They retained on Mikko but not on hall so it is a wash. They clear a contract spot. If they have a plan to use the third, they did not give too much and clear a slot.

Mittlestadt is there 2nd line center. He has been good the last 3 games. One of the better players in the game today. I think he heard the wake up call loud and clear
