Are you sure about that? Some hockey publication told me not even 2 years ago that he was better than Jack Hughes!

I haven't looked into it in the last couple of weeks, but his production over the last 2 seasons (last and this one so far) was horrible. Maybe he's just mailing it in over in Anaheim and is sick of it there.

The Rangers are known to specialize in getting guys they think are better than Jack Hughes.

No obviously not. Anaheim seems to hate Zegras though so it’s possible. I do think Zegras needs a change of scenery though. I find it hard to believe the guy 60+ pt seasons at 20 and 21 suddenly forgot how to play hockey.

I was being sarcastic, but it would be an upgrade for the Ducks from just a one year hockey standpoint. If you go by net rating Trouba is a -3.4 and Zegras is a -4.9.

Now Zegras has more upside and it would be bad asset management even with Zegras being devalued.

That’d f***ing suck. Fowler’s not spectacular or anything but he moves the puck well and the Rangers need that more than anything. I also think he looks better with the Rangers than he has in Anaheim’s disaster. The Ducks have nearly 20 mil in space so I don’t see why there’d need to be anyone coming back

Fowler has been on Anaheim since Scott Niedermayer was still a player.

Well, actually I'm wrong on that, not quite. He just barely missed Nieds.

But he has been there since Carlyle's first tenure as Ducks head coach lol.

Looking at his game log his game the other night was his first in a month.

He's not nearly as overrated as Yzerman though. The media doesn't hype him and I don't think he's nearly as respected, other than for what he did as a player.

I think the general consensus among Anaheim fans is that they've pretty much HATED him since he took over.
